Warranties & complaints
Voetbalshop.nl guarantees that each article delivered by it meets the normal requirements of soundness and usability. The statutory rules for guarantee and conformity apply to the delivered products. See also article 12 of our Thuiswinkel General Terms and Conditions. We will handle any complaints as soon as possible, at the latest within 14 days.
Received an item broken or damaged?
Despite our careful logistical handling, it can unfortunately happen that an item is damaged during transport. If this is the case for you, you can use the free return service via a DHL service point. Put everything in the bag or box in which you received it. Clearly note the order number and that it concerns damage. Indicate at the DHL service point that the package must be returned to voetbalshop.nl and they will print the return label for you. Keep the proof of shipment safe because you are the only one who will receive it. We will ensure that a new item is sent to you as soon as possible! You will automatically receive an email as soon as we have processed your return.Warranty
We take the utmost care in selecting top quality products from A-brands. Unfortunately, it can also happen that the article does not meet expectations. You also have the option to return the article via a DHL Service Point. Clearly note on the return slip that it concerns a production error, then we will check this and contact you. If in doubt, always contact customer service first. The following situations are excluded from the warranty claim:- In case of normal wear and tear due to intensive use.
- If changes have been made to or in the product, including repairs that have not been carried out with the permission of Voetbalshop.nl or the manufacturer.
- If proof of purchase cannot be provided, has been altered or made illegible.
- If defects are the result of use that does not correspond to the intended purpose or improper use.
- If damage is caused by intent, gross negligence or negligent maintenance.
The legal guarantee is never linked to a specific term. After all, one product lasts longer than another. The legal guarantee means that a product is or must do what you as a consumer can reasonably expect from it. However, it can happen that an article contains a manufacturing defect. What is a manufacturing defect? This is a defect in the product that has not arisen from incorrect use, normal wear and tear or no/poor maintenance. For example, playing on artificial grass with firmground (FG) football boots falls under incorrect use. For goalkeeper gloves, for example, we simply provide a guarantee on stitching problems that occur within a reasonable period. However, there is no guarantee on the foam of the glove.
If the warranty claim is rejected, the product will be returned. If the warranty claim is accepted, an attempt will first be made to repair or replace the product. If this is not possible, we will refund the purchase price.
Dispute Committee Thuiswinkel
Voetbalshop.nl is affiliated with the Dutch Thuiswinkel Organization. The Thuiswinkel Waarborg quality mark guarantees good quality of our products and a smooth and correct service. If you are not satisfied with the delivered products or our service, please contact us via +31(0)88 004 0144 or send an email to customerservice@voetbalshop.nl. We will respond to the complaint within 14 days of receipt. If we are unable to reach an agreement, we would like to submit this to the independent Thuiswinkel Disputes Committee without any problem. The decision of the independent Thuiswinkel Disputes Committee is binding for both the customer and Voetbalshop.nl. You can also submit your complaint to the Disputes Committee via the European ODR Platform (https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/)
